Dhelkaya Health, located on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, provides integrated health services to Mount Alexander Shire and surrounding areas. We offer hospital care, primary care, residential aged care, and community health services, led by nurses and allied health professionals, and supported by local GPs and visiting specialists. Over half our patients are from Mount Alexander Shire, reflecting our deep commitment to local health and wellbeing.

Our main sites are in Castlemaine and Maldon, with additional services at the Community Health Information Hub in Castlemaine and the Primary Care Clinic at Tarrengower Women’s Prison in Nuggety.
We work closely with Mount Alexander Shire Council, the Loddon Mallee Health Network, First Nations communities, and universities such as La Trobe, Federation, Monash, and Bendigo TAFE to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care across the region.
