Castlemaine Clay

Castlemaine Clay is a not-for-profit cooperative set up to provide space and resources that will foster a sense of community around ceramics.

Castlemaine Clay is an inclusive group, providing a meeting point for people to share ideas and skills amongst themselves. We aim to develop and sustain ceramic traditions as well as encourage new innovations.

To fulfil these objectives, we provide a studio for members, kilns open to the public for firing works, classes to learn new skills, talks and workshops with ceramic artists, plus much more.

Castlemaine Clay is a group for anyone interested in ceramics, from absolute beginners to professional makers.
