For those needing temporary accommodation, support and information about relief services can visit the Recovery Hub at Castlemaine Town Hall.
Newstead Men's Shed is a place where men can come together and meet to help combat mental health issues, isolation and dis-connectivity. The Members love to work on projects for the council, community and charity groups or locals. Members also love to share and pass on their woodworking and iron working skills to new members.
The shed is now open to women members on Thursdays.
The Shed often participates in local markets and fund raising.
