The Maldon Transfer Station will be closed from Wednesday 21 October to Sunday 25 October. The Castlemaine Transfer Station will operate as normal.
At the Meeting of Council on Tuesday 16 September 2025, Council adopted the Council Plan 2025-2029, which guides Council’s activities for the next four years.
Between February and April 2025, we conducted extensive community engagement to inform the development of the Council Plan 2025-2029.
Over 200 people engaged directly through face-to-face methods such as (drop-in sessions, pop-up sessions, meetings, street walks and key interviews), and we collected nearly 800 responses from online surveys and postcards from residents across all ages and towns.
