In August 2020 Council adopted the Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality 2020-2025.
The report which was a direct response to a call for climate action from our community, recommitted Council to reaching zero net emissions by 2025 across Council operations.
It also gave guidance on development of Council’s overarching Climate Change Strategy, and highlighted opportunities to work with the community to strengthen economic opportunities whilst reducing emissions.
