The Plaques and Memorials Policy aims to formally recognise significant local people, groups, places and events in the form of plaques and memorials within the Mount Alexander Shire.
It will also ensure that the installation and ongoing management of plaques and memorials on Council owned or managed land and buildings is undertaken to the satisfaction of Council officers.
