Mount Alexander Shire Council's Mayor Toby Heydon, said that Council is proud to support community celebrations during the festive season.

“There is nothing quite like a Mount Alexander Christmas. It’s a time for coming together, and these celebrations are a highlight of the whole year.

Whether it's a visit from Father Christmas, a community barbecue, festive decorations, carols or other live entertainment, these events are a way for people of all ages to connect and celebrate.

“We’re pleased to continue supporting the volunteers and community groups who put so much time and energy into making these events possible.

“I encourage community groups across the shire – especially towns that haven’t been involved before – to apply for funding and help make this year's festive season another memorable one across our shire.”
