Meet the faces behind The Good Coat Drive

Community Bank Maldon & District, The Good Op Shop and Sac’O’Suds Launderette have teamed up to support community members in need of warmth, as well as keeping coats out of landfill.

They’ve invited the community to donate pre-loved coats, jackets and blankets in good condition so that those sleeping rough or struggling to keep warm this winter will have a little bit of extra help.

We recently asked local businesses what they’re doing to take action against climate change. They told us stories about composting, collecting pre-loved clothing, building biodiversity and lots more!

In July, we’re sharing these stories with you, with the aim to inspire and learn from each other.
