Youth Mental Health First Aid available for parents and carers

Sign up for Youth Mental Health First Aid and learn how to support young people experiencing mental health issues.

The course includes two face-to-face sessions and five to seven hours of self-directed online learning that will cover:

• The difference between normal adolescent development and a developing mental health problem.
• How to have open conversations with young people.
• Signs and symptoms of possible mental health problems.
• Where to seek further help.

When: 8 September and 15 September, 5.00pm to 9.00pm
Where: Castlemaine Civic Centre
Cost: $75 (includes dinner)
