New Mayor and Deputy Mayor

Congratulations to our new Mayor, Cr Toby Heydon and Deputy Mayor, Cr Matthew Driscoll, who were elected at the November Meeting of Council.

“This, for me, is really the greatest honour of my life,” said Mayor Heydon.

“This is extraordinary. To be elected Mayor of the towns and the countryside that I love so much, is really humbling and moving, and it’s so great to be in a team of fellow Councillors who are all so passionate and loving of the communities around us.

“I really look forward to a renewed focus on the natural world and protecting our unique environment here. Thank you for your support. It means the world. Let’s crack on.”

The Mayor and Deputy Mayor will serve a one-year term.

A big thank you to Cr Rosie Annear for her hard work and dedication as Mayor over the last twelve months.
