Mount Alexander Shire Council is planning upgrades to the Maldon Gardens playspace and is inviting the community to share ideas and feedback.
The upgrade aims to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming playspace that reflects Maldon’s character, incorporates traditional play features and adds new nature play elements that support children, families and the wider community. Community input will help guide the final design.
Mount Alexander Shire Mayor Toby Heydon said local voices are key to getting the project right.
“Maldon Gardens is a much‑loved space for families and children,” Cr Heydon said.
“We want to hear what the community values and what they’d like to see included, so the upgraded playspace meets local needs now and into the future.”
