The role
The Business Support Officer provides support to the Bushfire Recovery team through:
- Responding to incoming requests in a respectful and professional manner
- being a key contact for community groups, government departments and other organisations
- coordinating and maintaining information
- assisting in the preparation of communication, correspondence and information for reports
- assisting with organising meetings for the team
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within Local Government
- knowledge and understanding of local governments roles in community relief and recovery
- awareness of the Emergency Recovery Victoria – Recovery Framework
- strong administrative skills and the ability to learn new systems
