The role
Key responsibilities undertaken by the Visitor Services Officer – Maldon include:
- Coordinate the daily operation of the Maldon Visitor Information Centre.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and presentation.
- Supervise and support volunteer team - including recruitment, training and rostering.
- Develop collaborative relationships with local tourism businesses and other industry groups.
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Successful experience working in tourism or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with volunteers.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Availability to work three days per week across a seven day operational week.
