The United Nations’ international campaign, 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, takes place each year from 25 November to 10 December.
As part of this campaign, an orange light installation will be projected from within Castlemaine Town Hall to raise awareness of family violence and show support for victim survivors across our community.
The installation will illuminate the Town Hall in orange each evening throughout the campaign period.
Location: Castlemaine Town Hall, 25 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine Dates: 25 November to 10 December Time: From dusk each night
Community members are encouraged to visit the installation and reflect on the role we all play in promoting respect, equality and safety, and in working together to prevent gender-based violence.
