Bushfire Community Recovery Thinking Group Presentation

The Thinking Group will propose a design for the establishment of an association focused on Harcourt and district’s recovery, including recommendations on its purpose, membership, committee structure, governance, financial management, and lifespan. This new association is a community led recovery initiative.
 
The aim is to create an association that will be imbedded in the community and will help all parts of the community have a voice in recovery efforts. Importantly, it will listen to the community and then help to support and advocate for community identified priorities.

 

The seven members of the Thinking Group are:

  • Leigh Canet
  • Rebecca Edwards
  • John Baldock

The group is supported by Steve Pascoe (Disaster recovery mentor) and Heidi Michael (previously Interim Relief Coordinator).
