Do you love listening to live Celtic music in an intimate acoustic setting?

Celtic Piping Club invites you to a Sunday afternoon recital, featuring a solo set from Ciarán O'Grady (concertina) and a Pipers Ensemble that will perform Australian-composed Celtic-style tunes inspired by Aussie places and landscapes.

Ciarán O’Grady is widely regarded as one of the leading concertina players of his generation. Growing up within the vibrant Irish music diaspora in England, Ciarán was largely self-taught and developed a unique style. He released his first album, with fiddler Aifric Boylan in 2013 with the second release coming later in 2025.

The Pipers Ensemble, directed by Sarah Wade, will perform a program of music composed by Australian tunes writers. Evoking the sounds of the bush, desert, cities, coast and more, performed on pipes, fiddles, whistles, flute, mandolin and guitar.
