One in six people experiencing homelessness in Australia are aged over 55, with older women adversely affected. A decline in home ownership at retirement age, increases in housing prices, and a reduction in affordable housing leave older people experiencing significant housing challenges and an increased risk of homelessness.
Come along to this session presented by Housing for the Aged Action Group, focussing on risk factors for homelessness and where people can go to access support.
