Spike is the story of an egg, stolen by a greedy rat. A young girl finds it. She is playing alone because she is bullied by other children. The baby echidna has no spikes yet and she doesn’t know what kind of creature he is. She tries to help but accidentally puts him in dangerous situations. Will they discover their “spikes” and stand up to the bullies?
Come on a lively journey through the world of shadow puppetry to find out Jenny Ellis, a puppeteer of more than twenty years, weaves the whole mystery together, sometimes playing three characters at once. Also join Little Wing Puppets and book into the Shadow Puppetry Workshop after the show to make your own shadow puppets! Recommended for ages 3+. Note: Both adults and children require tickets for the show. For the workshop, only children require bookings. Children 6 years and under need to be accompanied by an adult.
