At the centre of the programme is acclaimed flautist Eliza Shephard, celebrated as the ABC Young Performer of the Year 2022, performing Carl Nielsen’s vibrant Flute Concerto. With its wit, colour and lyrical brilliance, Nielsen’s concerto provides the perfect showcase for Eliza’s extraordinary musicianship.
