Amendment C99 – Corrections amendment

Current status

The amendment was approved and gazetted into the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme in November 2024.

Project summary

Keeping heritage protections accurate and up-to-date is ongoing and gradual work. We updated Mount Alexander Planning Scheme through Amendment C99malx. We complete this work to strengthen the operation and administration of the planning scheme, and to provide more detailed information for improved decision-making.

The amendment corrected errors in the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme associated with the Heritage Overlay and the Operational Provisions which were identified following the implementation of previous Amendment C97malx.

What changed in the planning scheme?

Mount Alexander Planning Scheme was updated to reflect the amendment which involved:

  • Updating the Heritage Overlay mapping for the ten affected properties
  • Updating the schedule to Clause 72.04 to remove the dot point relating to further strategic work that’s already completed
