Peggy, our community wellbeing bus

Council’s Community Wellbeing Bus, named ‘Peggy’, provides a way for people who don’t have access to transport to travel to wellness and exercise facilities. The bus is the first wheelchair accessible bus for the Mount Alexander Shire Council.

Peggy picks up people from their home and take them to the Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre in Kangaroo Flat.

Peggy needs more drivers

We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help keep our community connected by getting behind the wheel of Peggy, our Community Wellbeing Bus. If you love meeting people and making a real difference, this is a wonderful way to give back.

Learn more and sign up by emailing Julia at j.leonard@mountalexander.vic.gov.au or call 03 5471 1797.
