Business Awards 2025

Held every two years, the Mount Alexander Business Awards celebrate local businesses that support their staff, care for the environment, create opportunities for young people, champion local food, improve access for everyone, make a difference in the community, or use smart ideas to solve problems. They reflect Mount Alexander Shire Council’s commitment to building a fair, caring and sustainable local economy.

This year we will again champion the businesses and organisations in the shire that have demonstrated outstanding attributes. These businesses are the backbone of our community, contributing to the shire’s vibrancy that we all enjoy.

Judging is now complete, people's choice voting closed, and finalists have been announced. The overall winner (Business of the Year) receives $3,000, while all other category winners receive $500.

Awards night is on Wednesday 19 November.  It will be a relaxed evening of food, drinks, music and celebration. Join us!
