This project involves the re-orientation and reconstruction of the netball court at the Campbells Creek Recreation Reserve. The new acrylic court will be Netball Victoria compliant and include 200 Lux LED lighting, player shelters and a storage shed.
In 2022, Council endorsed the Campbells Creek Master Plan. The first stage of works to be delivered from this master plan is reconstruction of the netball court. The old court was in poor condition, required frequent remedial works to make safe and was not compliant due to its orientation and run-off areas.
This project will deliver a compliant, safe and accessible netball court that will support the Campbells Creek Football Netball Club to maintain their existing membership and attract new players, whilst providing a public open space for all to enjoy.

This project is jointly funded through the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI) and Mount Alexander Shire Council, in partnership with the Australian Football League, Netball Victoria and AFL Victoria and the Victorian Government.
We are delivering a home and away gender neutral change room for netball. The rooms will be located near the new netball court and will be a modular build, providing the following:
This project will deliver on a gap in facility provision. To date, there have been no dedicated change rooms for netball at the reserve.
