The role
The Health Safety and Wellbeing Officer provides operational and administrative support through:
- Administration of WorkCover claims and supporting the coordination of return to work programs
- Maintenance of systems and records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Identifying training needs and coordinate the delivery of programs, including maintaining and monitoring records
- Providing support to Health Safety and Wellbeing committees, initiatives and activities
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience with WorkCover, return to work and providing operational support across the areas of hazard reporting, incident management and training coordination
- A good understanding of Health and Safety legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and confidence to learn new systems as required
- Ability to work with staff at all levels and external providers with a strong customer focus
