Platypus Picnic

There's heaps to celebrate at the Platypus Picnic, including:

• the platypus population in Campbells Creek
• the opening of the newly finished trail
• launch of the new ‘Sound Trail‘
• the Friends of Campbells Creek Landcare Group’s 25th birthday
• Friends of Campbells Creek role in the $1.8 million funded Forest Creek Revitalisation project
• and winter solstice at 12:41 pm 

Come and walk new and bring any platypus themed items such as clothing, posters, placards, stuffed toys, etc. 

There will be buses and a bicycle trailer to return tired people to your starting point, so you don’t have to make the journey twice.

The official launch site starts just north of Princess St in Campbells Creek, however you can enter at various points along the trial. Check the ticketing page for map information.  

Afterwards there will be a free BBQ lunch, platypus information, displays, music, activities for children and more.
