Council recognised with Veterans Specialisation by My Aged Care

Mount Alexander Shire Council has proudly received the Veterans Specialisation from My Aged Care, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to delivering inclusive and tailored aged care services.

This recognition highlights our dedication to supporting veterans in the community, ensuring their unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

The Veterans Specialisation is part of My Aged Care’s verification process, which acknowledges organisations that go above and beyond to support specific groups within the aged care system.

Council now holds three My Aged Care Specialisations: LGBTQIA+, Veterans, and Rural and Remote – a rare and commendable achievement.
