Total Fire Bans

Total Fire Bans Days are different to the Fire Danger Period.

These are declared by CFA on days when fires are likely to spread rapidly and can be difficult to control.

This means that the following cannot be used or lit in the declared areas:

  • Campfires
  • Fires
  • Solid fuel barbeques are not allowed, although electric and gas barbeques can be used depending on certain conditions
